Richard A. Shipp, 40, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Julianne K. Brooks, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, August 5, 2015. The family will receive friends Sunday, August 9, 2015, in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Private.

Richard was born September 22, 1974, son of Gloria Shipp McKee.

He is survived by his wife, Julianne K. Brooks; mother, Gloria Shipp McKee; daughter, Dahlia Spartaro; son, Ian Shipp; step-daughter, Adrianna Miller; five sisters: Cheryl McKee-Bean, Cathy-Jo McKee, Sharon McKee, Shannon McKee and Sharmaine McKee; five brothers, Joseph Shipp, Jr., David McKee, Anthony McKee, Sherrod McKee, Jr. and Jamal McKee. He is predeceased in death by a sister, Charlotte Shipp-Solars.
