Richard Edward Seignious

December 1, 1930 — July 19, 2013

The Reverend Richard Edward Seignious, 82, native of Charleston, SC, husband of Betty Booth Seignious, entered into eternal rest Friday, July 19, 2013. A Funeral Service will be held Monday, July 22, 2013 in John Wesley United Methodist Church, 626 Savannah Highway at 11:00 am. Interment, Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway.

Richard was born December 1, 1930 in Charleston, SC, son of the late George Williams Seignious and Katharine Bignon Seignious. He retired from the SC United Methodist Conference and was a Charter Member of John Wesley United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Seignious; four daughters, Deborah Henderson (Rossi) of Laurens, SC, Delores Bruce (Steve) of Inman, SC, Mary Allen (Robert) of Greenville, SC and Melissa Seignious of Charleston, SC; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
