Richard Henry Romanek, 63, of North Charleston, SC, died Wednesday, June 13, 2018. The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 19, 2018 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The funeral service will be held at the graveside Sunday, June 24, 2018, in Adnah United Methodist Churchyard, Rock Hill, SC at 5:00 pm.

Richard was born December 17, 1954 in Raleigh, NC, son of Henry Romanek and Elizabeth Wells Romanek. He was a graduate of University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and earned his Master's from University of North Carolina - Wilmington. Richard was a Computer Programmer for The Citadel.

He is survived by two sons, Robert James Romanek of Rock Hill, SC and Richard Henry Romanek, Jr. of Phoenix, AZ; sister, Elizabeth Jacquet of Alexandria, VA.
