Richard Bruce Poole, 53, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, husband of Ramona S. Dahms Poole entered into eternal rest Tuesday, December 23, 2025. His Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, January 7, 2026, in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc, Mt. Pleasant Chapel, at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends at the funeral chapel from 12:00 pm until to 2:00 pm.

Richard was born September 22, 1972 in Union, South Carolina, son of the late Richard Poole and the late Linda Bright. He was a football and basketball coach for Laing Middle School and Moultrie Middle School. Richard also coached for Mount Pleasant Recreational Department and travel basketball.

He is survived by six sons, Michael Simon of Charleston, SC, Kristopher Simon of Mount Pleasant, SC, Dillon Poole of Daniel Island, SC, Dustin Poole of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Daniel Poole-Dahms of Mt. Pleasant, SC, and Dakota Poole of Mount Pleasant, SC; special extended family members, Jasmine, Kassie, Ashtyn, Bree, and Myiah; four grandchildren, McKenzie Simon, Matthew Simon, Greyson Poole, and Daxton Poole-Dahms; and his sister, Tamatha Poole. He was preceded in death by his brother, Shannon Poole.
