Richard James Lighthart

Richard James Lighthart, 57, of Mt. Pleasant, SC, passed away Saturday, January 22, 2011.  The relatives and friends of Richard Lighthart are invited to attend his Graveside Service on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens at 11:00 a.m.  ARRANGEMENTS BY J. HENRY STUHR INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL.  The family will greet friends at the graveside following the service. Richard was born November 15, 1953 in Bamberg, SC, son of the late John Matthew Lighthart, Sr. and Sophronia Reinhardt Lighthart.  He attended Christ Our King Catholic Church and was a member of the American Legion, Moultrie Post.  He was also a veteran of the USAF. He is survived by his brothers and sister: John M. Lighthart, Jr. of James Island, SC, Susan Lighthart Read of Hattiesburg, MS, Michael Lighthart of North Charleston, SC, Patrick C. Lighthart of Wasilla, AK and Joseph F. Lighthart of Mt. Pleasant, SC.  He is also survived by four nieces and three nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Crisis Ministries, PO Box 20038, Charleston, SC 29413.
