Entered into eternal rest on the afternoon of May 26, 2012, Richard Douglas Hartwell, husband of Virginia Maureen DeStefano Hartwell of Charleston, SC. A Memorial service will be held Saturday, June 2, 2012 at The Church of The Holy Cross, Sullivans Island at 11:00 a.m. Surviving are his wife Virginia DeStefano of Charleston; daughter, Krista McHenry and husband Brent of Johns Island, SC; son, Richard D. Hartwell, Jr. of Cohasett, MA; and six grandchildren.
