Richard Creighton Dayhoff

Richard Creighton Dayhoff, 30, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, died Saturday, December 15, 2018. His memorial service will be held Friday, December 21, 2018 in the Church of The Holy Cross, 2520 Middle Street, Sullivan's Island, SC at 2:30 pm. Burial will be private. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL.

Creighton was born April 28, 1988 in Columbia, South Carolina, son of Robert L. "Bobby" Dayhoff and Mona Ellen Stuhr Kelosman. He was self- employed in general construction. Creighton had an artistic eye, which he demonstrated early in life. His art, like his life, centered around the water. He enjoyed helping others enjoy the riches of our coastal waters. He was working towards a captains license which unfortunately has now been cut short. Creighton is remembered as a loving, generous friend who will be truly missed. He is survived by his father, Robert L. "Bobby" Dayhoff (Karen) of Mount Pleasant, SC; mother, Mona Stuhr Kelosman (Yilly) of North Charleston, SC; brother, Ryan L. Dayhoff (Sydney) of Kenosha, WI; paternal grandmother, Doris L. Dayhoff of Mount Pleasant, SC and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, J. Harry Stuhr and Barbara D. Stuhr and paternal grandfather, Harry E. Dayhoff.

Immediately following the service, a reception will be held at the home of Greg and Tori Deaton @ 633 Barbados Drive, Charleston, SC 29392 in Beresford Hall(off Clements Ferry Rd). This is a gated community and the gate code is #8910, everyone is invited and welcome.
