Richard Craig Baccino, 74, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, husband of Teresa for 35 years, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, August 5, 2026. His memorial service will be held at a later date. The Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel.

Richard was born October 19, 1951 in West Chester, Pennsylvania, son of Aurelio F. Baccino and Edith Delaurentis Baccino. He attended the University of Delaware where he graduated with an Engineering Degree and ultimately earned his Professional Engineer certification. He served as a Civil Engineer with New Castle County, Delaware before his retirement. He was an active member of the New Castle County Conservation District and a Board Member of the NCC Employees Credit Union. In his younger years he was an avid tennis player. Richard enjoyed fine dining, but also loved cooking and was an adventurous and accomplished cook. He enjoyed fine wines and exhibited a breadth of knowledge and certainly could pair a good bottle of wine with a good meal.

He is survived by his sister, Denise Tyler (Ernest) of Selbyville, DE; Brother-in-law, Mark McMahon (Kay) of Mount Pleasant, SC; Two Nephews, Justin Tyler of West Chester, PA, and Mark R. McMahon (Kelly) of Mount Pleasant, SC; Two Nieces, Elisa Tyler Ritchey (David) of Audubon, PA, and Kelly Andersen (Ben) of Charlotte, N; three great-nieces, Molly McMahon, Kiera McMahon, and Clara Andersen; and his beloved yellow lab, Piper.
