Entered into eternal rest on the evening of July 1, 2012, Rhoda Daub Baker, widow of Elihu Baker. Residence, Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at 11:00 am in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL. Interment, Emanu-El Cemetery, "Maryville".
Mrs. Baker was born November 17, 1922 in Savannah, Georgia the daughter of Nathan Daub and Eva Goldberg Daub. She was a member of Synagogue Emanu-El.
She is survived by two sons: Jerry I. Baker (Debbie) of Charleston, SC and Steven L. Baker (Josephine) of St. Thomas, Virgin Island; two grandchildren Ellison and Zachary Baker; two step-grandchildren, Chloe and Daniel Rosey. She was pre-deceased by her daughter, Iris Elaine Baker.
Memorials may be made to Iris E. Baker Memorial Fund, Jewish Community Center, 1645 Raoul Wallenberg Blvd., Charleston, SC 29407.
