Rexford Allen Wilson

Rexford Allen Wilson, 79, of Johns Island, South Carolina, widower of Peggy Allen Wilson entered into eternal rest Monday, December 5, 2016. His Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, December 13, 2016 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 2:00 P.M. The family will receive friends in Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
Rexford was born August 23, 1937 in Jefferson County, Georgia, son of the late Walter Lee Wilson and Lilly Phillips Wilson. He was a United States Air Force Veteran.
He is survived by his three sons, Terry Wilson , Michael Wilson, Allen Wilson Jr., all of Charleston, SC; two daughters, Mary Hammet, and Linda Wilson both of Johns Island, SC; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P. O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.
