Rev. Dr. Marvin Dewey Bedenbaugh

Reverend Dr. Marvin Dewey Bedenbaugh, 67, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Friday, March 10, 2023. His Funeral Service will be held Saturday, March 18, 2023 in the Charlestowne Southern Methodist Church, 1405 Miles Drive at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. A graveside service will be Sunday, March 19, 2023 at the Philadelphia Southern Methodist Church Cemetery 1665 Philadelphia Street Darlington, SC at 2:00 pm. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel.

Marvin was born May 5, 1955 in Johnston, South Carolina, son of the late Clarence "Buck" Dewey Bedenbaugh and the late Tiny Earline Cromer Bedenbaugh Johnson. 

He is survived by two daughters, Megan Deanne Bedenbaugh of Charleston, SC and Sara Kathryn Joubert (Joshua) of Lafayette, LA; and former wife, Donna Raburn Bedenbaugh of Charleston, SC.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Marvin's name to the Southern Methodist Camp Sumers & Manget. Donations can be made out to Camp Summers & Manget C/O 2558 Greenridge Rd. North Charleston, SC 29406.
