Renée Amie Boutan, 29, of Wadmalaw Island, SC, entered into eternal rest Saturday, July 4, 2015. Her funeral service will be held Thursday, July 9, 2015, in St. Philip's Church, 142 Church Street, at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Downtown Chapel.

Renée was born July 5, 1985 in Brunswick, Maine, daughter of Reverend Marc R. Boutan and Patricia Hartman Boutan. She was a graduate of Furman University with a double major in French and Flute Performance.

She is survived by her parents of Wadmalaw Island; a brother, Christian R. Boutan (Madeleine) of Seattle, WA; and paternal grandfather, Pierre J. Boutan of Houston, TX.
