Reid A. Broadway (Jr.), 73, of Awendaw, South Carolina, passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2026. A private graveside service was conducted by family, honoring his life and legacy. The arrangements were managed by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel.

Born on November 4, 1952, in Charleston, South Carolina, Reid was the cherished son of the late Reid Archie Broadway, Sr. and the late Althea Sineath Broadway. He grew to be a man of dedication and hard work, earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the College of Charleston in 1975. Reid contributed his skills as an administrative professional at Cummins Engine for many years until his retirement, where he was well-respected for his commitment and expertise.

Reid is lovingly remembered by his two sisters, Angela B. Mulholland and Deborah B. Fenn of Mount Pleasant, SC, , along with many beloved nieces, nephews, and special friends who enriched his life. He was preceded in death by his sister, Althea “Bonnie” Gregorie , and his brother, Mark A. Broadway.

Reid will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his memory will continue to resonate in the hearts of those left behind.
