Rebecca C. Lantz

Rebecca C. Lantz, 90, of North Charleston, SC, widow of Hershel  Lee Lantz entered into eternal rest Monday, January 8, 2024. Her Memorial Service will be held Sunday, January 14, 2024 in the Christ Community Lutheran Church, 8315 Dorchester Road at 3:00 pm.  The family will receive friends Saturday, January 13, 2024, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road. 

Rebecca was born October 8, 1933 in Barber Junction, NC, daughter of Daniel Guy Cobb and Ethel Cauble Cobb.  She was a Registered Nurse and a longtime employee of MUSC.  She was a member of the Charleston Yacht Club and very active traveling in the U.S.  She and her late husband visited nearly every state. 

She is survived by three daughters: Debra Lantz of Largo, FL, Donna Worman of Cottageville, SC, Diana (Kevin) Cotts of Dunkirk, MD; son, David  Lantz of Cottageville, FL; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Hershel Lee Lantz and siblings, J. C. Cobb and Wayne Cobb.
