Raymond Lewis Shuey , 81, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, died Thursday, December 28, 2017. A graveside service with military honors will be held in Salisbury National Cemetery, Salisbury, North Carolina on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 11:00 am. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL.
Raymond was born March 29, 1936 in Dayton, Ohio, son of the late Russell Lewis Shuey and Olga Shuey. He was a retired Chief Petty Officer with the United States Navy and he served during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by son, Michael L. Shuey (Gina) of Mount Pleasant, SC; two daughters, Shelby S. Peck (David) and Bobby Sue Bostian (David), both of Wilmington, NC; brother, Vernon Shuey of FL; sister, Beverly Shuey of Edenton, OH; nine grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
