Raymond Kenneth Pease

Raymond Kenneth Pease, 89, of McKenzie, Tennessee, husband of the late Delores Marie Pease, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, October 29, 2024 surrounded by his granddaughters Heidi and Jessica Crespo. His strength, passion, and unwavering dedication to his family and country will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Raymond’s career in the military was marked by integrity, bravery, and an enduring commitment to service. He wore his uniform with pride, dedicating his life to his country and setting an example of honor and resilience that guided his family and inspired all who knew him.

A father to four beloved daughters, Raymond was a guiding force in their lives, instilling in each of them the values of hard work, courage, and compassion. His love for his family knew no bounds, and he found great joy in watching his family grow to include grandchildren and great-grandchildren, each of whom he cherished deeply.

In his free time, Raymond was happiest near the water. An avid diver, he found freedom and peace exploring the depths of the ocean, marveling at its beauty, mystery, and serenity. This love for the water was a reflection of his adventurous spirit and connection to nature-a joy he shared with friends and family alike.

Raymond also had a passion for classic cars, seeing them as timeless works of art and craftsmanship. He spent countless hours working on, restoring, and admiring these vehicles, appreciating every line and detail, and he delighted in passing along his knowledge and enthusiasm for these machines to those around him.

Raymond will be remembered as a man of strength, kindness, and humor, a man who lived life on his own terms, leaving a lasting legacy of love, honor, and grace. He will be deeply missed but forever cherished in the hearts of his family and friends.

The family will hold a private ceremony to honor Raymond’s life and his memory. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Raymond’s memory be made to support veterans or ocean conservation causes, continuing his legacy of service and his love for the sea.
