Raymond Morris Mothershed

Entered into eternal rest on Thursday, July 28, 2011, Raymond Morris Mothershed, widower of Cheryle Polk Mothershed. Residence, Charleston, South Carolina.  The relatives and friends of Ray are invited to attend his funeral service at J. HENRY STUHR, INC. WEST ASHLEYCHAPEL Saturday, July 30, 2011 at 10am.  Interment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends at Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel this Friday, July 29, 2011 from 5pm until 7pm.

Born January 2, 1947 in Camden, SC, Ray was the son of Raymond Elliott Mothershed and Eva "Bernecia" Kirkley Mothershed.  He was a veteran of the US Army and a pharmacist at CVS Pharmacy for 25 years. Mr. Mothershed was a graduate of the University of South Carolina and the University of Georgia School of Pharmacy.

Survivors include his sister: Sandra Payne and brother, Bill Mothershed both of Columbia, SC; aunt: Freida Roper of Camden, SC; 3 nieces: Christina Twing, Lisa Piazzola and Rebecca Becker; nephew: Derek Payne.
