Entered into eternal rest on the morning of July 24, 2010, Raymond Tyrus Manley, Jr., husband of Patricia Dobson Manley. Residence, Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond T. Manley, Jr. are invited to attend the funeral service of the former at J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL on Tuesday, July 27, 2010, at two o'clock. Interment will follow at Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at J. HENRY STUHR INC. WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, Monday between five and seven o'clock. Ray was born August 16, 1941, in Royston, Georgia, the son of the late Raymond T. Manley, Sr. and Aldyne Wilder Jordon Manley. Mr. Manley was a former member of the US Army Reserve and a former Rotarian. He was a retired store manager with Sears Department Stores and a member of Grace United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Patricia D. Manley of Charleston; his son, Barton R. Manley and his wife, Ashley Barnes Manley of Charleston, SC; his daughter, Melissa Manley Perry and her husband, Jason Perry of Charleston; two brothers, James Barton Manley of Dacula, GA and William Erwin Manley of Martinez, GA; five grandchildren, Jaxon (10), Henry (8) and Franklin (5) Perry, Ethan (6) and Patricia (4) Manley. Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
