Raymond Blease Gardner

Ray was born September 25, 1962 in Columbia, South Carolina, son of Paulette Porter Gardner and the late Raymond Blease Gardner .

It is with immense sadness we bid farewell to the man who captured the hearts and minds of so many people.

A man who gave of himself unconditionally:
A man who never judged anyone and accepted everyone for who and what they were;
A man who could laugh at himself and put others at ease;
A man who believed in "paying it forward" with no expectations;
A man of unlimited generosity with the belief that it is far better to give than to receive;
A man everyone could trust without question or boundaries;
A man who made us all laugh with his infectious, sharp wit and incredible sense of humor;
A man of utmost integrity and honesty.

Ray's larger than life presence leaves an enormous void. There was and will only ever be one Ray Gardner, but those of us fortunate enough to have been part of his life will continue to share his beliefs, stories, memories and the love he gave us all. For this we will forever be grateful.

A celebration of Rays life will be held at a later date.
