Raymond Lee Blair, 62, of Johns Island, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Thursday, July 26, 2012. The relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service Monday, July 30, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in Stono Baptist Church, Johns Island. Burial will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday between 4:00 and 6:00 p.m. in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway.

Mr. Blair was born on November 27, 1949 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of the late William Lee Blair and Frances Blair Haithcock. He was a retired land clearer and attended Stono Baptist Church.

He is survived by his son, Robert Gaskins (Julie) of Ravenel, SC, step-son, Jonathan Ott (Danielle) of Johns Island, SC, sister, Sally Blair-White (Donald) of Johns Island, SC, sister, Fances Karen Ford (Banyon) of Hollywood, SC, sister, Robin Chestnut (Jimmy) of Charleston, SC; five grandchidren, five nephews, eight nieces, and his devoted and loyal friend, Bobby LeMacks.
