Raymond J. Biel, Jr., 73, of Yonges Island, South Carolina, husband of Patricia Harju Biel entered into eternal rest Tuesday, August 11, 2015. His Funeral Service will be held Saturday, August 15, 2015 in Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church, 5412 Highway 165 at 11:00 a.m.. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, Charleston, SC.
Raymond was born August 25, 1941 in Charleston, SC, son of the late Raymond J. Biel, Sr., and Evelyn Epps Biel. He was a retired maintenance person with the James Island County Park. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Biel of Hollywood, SC, two daughters, Debra Biel Thomas( Michael)of Summerville, SC, Dina Biel Waltz (Chad) of Ocala, FL; son, Darrin R. Biel (Ian) of Oklahoma City, OK; seven grandchildren, Andrew Thomas, Ashton Thomas, Caroline Thomas, Damon Waltz, Collette Waltz, Randy Biel, and Zakk Biel, and his beloved " Lacey".
Memorials may be made to Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church, ( Building Fund), 5412 Highway 165, Hollywood, SC 29449 and/or Ravenel United Methodist Church, 6035 Drayton Street, Ravenel, SC 29470.
