Randall E. "Randy" Reid

Randall E. "Randy" Reid, 57, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, February 13, 2024. His Funeral Service will be held Friday, February 16, 2024 in the Greek Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity, 30 Race Street at 11:00 am. A graveside service, will be held Monday, February 19, 2024 at Elmwood Cemetery, 600 Martin Luther King Jr. Dr., Birmingham, AL, at 11:00 am. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel.

Randy was born July 3, 1966 in Fairfield, Alabama, son of the late Lester Eugene Reid and the late Marcelene Vaughan Reid. For many years Randall enjoyed working as the carousel operator at the Galleria Mall of Birmingham. He owned and operated a woodcutting firewood business and also worked at Publix. Randall was a member of the Greek Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity.

He is survived by brother, Bryan L. Reid (Romy) of Mount Pleasant, SC; niece and nephews, Abigail Reid, Caleb Reid, and Nathan Reid; cousins, Doug Miller, Jeanne Daniels, Sue Hightower; Karen Karlstad, Keith Vaughan, and Kim Hollingsworth and a host of family members who loved him. He was preceded in death by his aunts, Alberta Vaughan, Garndella Vaughan, Joyce Miller; uncles, Robert Vaughan,Winfred Reid, Burnell Reid, Roy Reid; and cousins, Charles Vaughan, Robert Vaughan, and Drew Miller.
