Randall Pollard Gamble- Charleston passed away on Saturday, December 10th, 2022, at home. Randall “Randy” Pollard Gamble was born to James Woods and Emily Bledsoe Pollard on February 20, 1946, in Richmond, Virginia. Randy graduated from Collegiate School, Converse College with a BA in History and received an associate of interior design from the College of DuPage. Randy lived in Charleston, SC, Florence, SC,  Hinsdale, Ill. and Richmond, Va. She was a wonderful wife of 54 years, loving mother, and doting grandmother. Randy had a fondness for history, a passion for travel, and loved animals. The world she loved to explore was made a better place with her having been in it. Among her many passions Randy was a faithful member of the Potpourri Garden Club, and she made wonderful friends in all the places she lived and kept close friendships from Collegiate and Converse, all of whom she loved dearly. She will be greatly missed by all she knew and loved.

Randy is preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Emily Elizabeth Gamble. She is survived by her husband Robert B. Gamble Jr., son; Robert B. Gamble III (Hope), daughter; Caroline E. Gamble, and twin grandsons, Robert “Wells” Tazewell and Woods Pollard Gamble all of Charleston, SC. She is also survived by her brother, James W. Pollard Jr. of Richmond, Va.

A graveside service will be held at Magnolia Cemetery, 70 Cunnington Avenue, on Friday, December 16th at 1:00 pm, arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Downtown Chapel. The family will receive guests for a celebration of Randy’s life at the Carolina Yacht Club from 2:00 until 4:00 following the service.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lutheran Hospice of South Carolina or the Hydrocephalus Association.
