Randall Lee Brunson, Sr., 72, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Carol Tumbleston Brunson, died Thursday, November 29, 2012. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, December 1, 2012 in the Charlestowne Methodist Church, 1405 Miles Drive, at 2:00 pm. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, Charleston.Randy was born November 4, 1940 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of Harry Lee and Elaine White Brunson. He was a Physical Science Technician at the Navy Shipyard in Charleston, and he was an employee at MUSC in Parking Management. Randy was also a member of Charlestowne Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Carol T. Brunson of Charleston, SC, son, Randall Lee Brunson Jr. and his wife Tiffany; and grandson, Randall Alex Brunson, all of Gastonia, NC.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 5900 Core Road, Suite 504, North Charleston, SC 29406.
