Ralph Louis Smith

Entered into eternal rest on the morning of June 15, 2011, Ralph Louis Smith, husband of Deverett Davis Smith.  Residence, Hanahan, SC.  The relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service in Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church, 2:00 pm Friday, June 17, 2011.  The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall immediately following the service.

Mr. Smith was born June 1, 1945 in Camden, New Jersey, the son of Ralph Busch Smith and Helen Cureton Smith.  He was a graduate of the Baptist College and retired after 25 years from the SC National Guard as Staff Sergeant.  Mr. Smith retired from SPAWARS as a Financial Analyst.

He is survived by his Mother of Sullivan's Island, SC; Wife of Charleston, SC; daughter: Weslyn J. Smith of Hanahan, SC; one brother: Ronald C. Smith of Charleston, SC; and several nieces and nephews.
