Ralph Augustus Morris

Ralph Augustus Morris, 83, of Edisto Island, South Carolina, husband of the late Brenda Jean Kinlaw Morris, entered into eternal rest Saturday, March 2, 2024. His funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2024 in the Presbyterian Church on Edisto Island Cemetery, 2164 Hwy 174 at 2:00 pm. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel.

Ralph was born June 17, 1940 in Sullivan's Island, South Carolina, son of the late Cecil E. Morris and Rhoda Ann Thomas. Ralph grew up in the city of Charleston and graduated from Charleston High in 1959. His chosen profession was in procurement at Sam Solomens department store, the Naval Weapons Station, and he retired from Kiawah Island. Later in life Ralph and his wife Brenda opened an antique shop in their historic home on Edisto Island. Ralph was a former member of the Elks Lodge and the Charleston Rifle Club of Charleston. 

He is survived by his daughter, Rhonda R. Morris of Johns Island, SC; son, Adam C. (Toniann) Morris of Edisto Island, SC; sister, Elizabeth Morris Marshall of Buford, GA; and grandsons, Kerrington Morris, and Troy Morris. 

In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Cecil Morris Bardett; brother, Charles Espy Morris.
