Ralph Farrell Greene

June 12, 1924 — March 14, 2011

Ralph Farrell Greene of Charleston, South Carolina entered into eternal rest on March 14, 2011.  Mr. Greene was born June 12, 1924 in Dead Man's Corner, Arizona and was retired from the Charleston Naval Shipyard.  Mr. Greene served as a Radioman First Class in the United States Navy during World War 2. 


He is survived by his wife of fifty two years, Jeanne Rodrigue Greene, originally of Florence, South Carolina, his daughter Jacquelyn Greene Johnson and her husband Randall W. Johnson, their two sons, Joshua S. Johnson and Jesse M. Johnson of Charleston, and his daughter Cynthia Greene Keith and her husband Robert W. Keith, their two daughters, Lauren M. Keith and Shelby E. Keith of Conway, SC and a sister, Laverne G. Wilson of Mentone, CA. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and dog owner.


In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.


A memorial service will be held at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, Sunday March 20, 2011 at 4 PM. The family will receive friends before and after the service at the home of Jackie Johnson, 205 Summer Rain Court, Charleston.
