Entered into eternal rest on the morning of May 10, 2010, Rachel Lavinia "Ree" Davis, widow of Caleb Lee Davis, Sr. Residence, Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mark United Methodist Church. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL, Friday between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m.

Mrs. Davis was born December 9, 1918 in Hampton County, SC, the daughter of Raymond Aiken Belger and Leonora Clifton Belger. She was a Charter Member of St. Mark United Methodist Church.

She is survived by one daughter: Suzanne D. Motley (Bert) of Charleston, SC; two sons: Caleb L. Davis, Jr. (Shannon) of Charleston, SC and R. Steven Davis of Mount Pleasant, SC; seven grandchildren: Trey (Christine), Jeffrey, Lee, and Ben Davis, Michael, Mark (Danielle),and Brad Motley; three great grandchildren: Reid, Leah, and Ryland Davis; six sisters: Noreen B. Terry, Lois B. Cook (J.R.), Veda B. McMillen, Virginia B. Bishop, Wilma B. McMillan (Allen) and Frances Belger; one brother: Tom Belger (Nilda).
