Prudence Postell Moore

Entered into eternal rest on the afternoon of January 9, 2012, Prudence Moore, 103, of James Island, South Carolina. Mrs. Moore is preceded in death by her husband Albert Judson Moore and her son Albert S. Moore. The relatives and friends are invited to a visitation at J.HENRY STUHR, INC. WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL located at 3360 Glenn McConnell Pkwy on Wednesday, January 11 between 5 and 7 pm. The funeral services will be held at Sauldam Baptist Church Chapel in Ravenel on Thursday, January 12 at 11 o'clock, with final interment at the churchyard cemetery.

Born on December 22, 1908 in Ravenel, South Carolina, Prudence was the daughter of the late Samuel E. Postell and the late Annie Bivens Postell. Mrs. Moore was a Christian homemaker. She was a member of James Island Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son Samuel W. Moore (Sandy) of Charleston, SC; a sister Myra Postell of Charleston, SC; a dear friend, Ruth Christy of Ravenel;9 grandchildren,William Moore, Wanda Shuler (Joe), Glenda Patierno (Rick), Shuren Lane (Chris), Albert S. Moore II (Sarena), Samuel Moore (Michelle), Martha Lynn Perry, Daniel Moore (Robin), and Stephen Moore (Reneé); 22 great grandchildren and 11 great, great grandchildren.
