Primitiva Riturban Aquino, 99, of North Charleston, died Friday, March 25, 2011, peacefully at home.
Born November 25, 1911 in Pozorrubio, Pangasinan, Philippines; she was one of eight children of Bernardo Riturban and Leonarda Rodriguez Riturban.
Primitiva was very devoted to her family and is survived by her five daughters: Elena Ilog and her husband Renato of New Jersey; Jovita Castillano of North Charleston; Teresita Bercasio and her husband Liberato of Mississauga, Ontario Canada; Rosita Abaoag and her husband Rudy of Ontario, Canada and Luzviminda Calimlim of Pangasinan, Philippines; eleven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lucio Aquino in 2000 and by two daughters: Felipa and Augustina Aquino.
The graveside service will be held in Riverview Memorial Park, 3715 Azalea Drive, Charleston, at 11AM on Saturday, April 2, 2011. The family will receive friends in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road, Wednesday, March 30th and Friday, April 1st between 7 pm to 9 pm.
