Pierce Roy Jones, Jr.

Pierce Roy Jones, Jr. 94, of North Charleston, South Carolina, husband of 55 years of the late Carol Wilson Jones entered into eternal rest Monday, January 13, 2025. His Funeral Service will be held Friday, January 17, 2025 in the Christ Community Lutheran Church, 8315 Dorchester Road at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday, January 16, 2025 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel.

Pierce was born November 10, 1930 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, son of the late Pierce Roy Jones Sr. and the late Irene Howe Jones. He served in the National Guard for 31 years of service and retired in 1996 after 26 years at the United States Postal Service. He enjoyed bowling and fishing. 

He is survived by children: Sheri Jones Bostick (David Seth Bostick) of Ridgeville, SC and Mark Alan Jones of North Charleston; grandchildren: Stacey Denise Canington (David) of Pinopolis, SC and Rebecca Elaine Feagin of Ridgeville, SC; great grandchildren: Olivia Rose Feagin, Jackson David Canington, and Lucas Ryan Canington; and many loved nieces and a nephew. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Beverly Gosnell.
