Phyllis Rundbaken Shorago, 82, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Arthur L. Shorago entered into eternal rest Tuesday, January 18, 2022. Her funeral service will be held graveside Wednesday, January 19, 2022 in Emanu-El Cemetery (Maryville), Sycamore Avenue at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel.

Phyllis was born April 9, 1939 in Charleston, SC, daughter of the late Abraham Rundbaken and Pearl Sokol Rundbaken. She was a graduate of the University of Alabama and was a retired sales manager for Lowells/Affordables Dress Shop for 25 years. Phyllis was a member of Synagogue Emanu-El, Hadassah and Emanu-El Sisterhood.

She is survived by two daughters: Susan Shorago Chase (Ben) and Lynn Shorago Hunsinger (Mark) all of Charleston, SC; sister, Barbara Rundbaken Epstein (Lowell); brother, Paul H. Rundbaken (Lynn); and four grandchildren: Rachel Hunsinger, Molly Hunsinger, Samuel Chase and Hannah Chase.
