Phyllis Giblin Hefron, 100, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, formerly of Braintree, MA, and widow of Edward L. Hefron entered into eternal rest Thursday, January 8, 2015. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, January 15, 2015 in Saint Clare Parish Catholic Church in Braintree, MA. Prayers of Final Commendation and Farewell will follow in Holyhood Cemetery, Brookline, MA. The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at the Mortimer N. Peck Funeral Chapel, 516 Washington Street, Braintree, MA.

Phyllis was born February 6, 1914 in Medford, MA, daughter of Francis Giblin and Eva Zwinge Giblin. She was a retired Title Examinator. She was a former member of Saint Clare Parish Catholic Church, Braintree, MA where she was a member of the Saint Clare's Women's Club and was a member of the Sweet Adelines.

She is survived by her sons, Robert J. Mailly of Folly Beach,SC and Richard W. Mailly (Liz) of Greenville, SC; her daughter, Andrea H. Boland of Sanford, ME; four grandhildren: Richard Mailly, Jr., Michelle Milne, Timothy Boland and Michela Belair; and two great-grandchildren, Carolyn and Maxwell Milne
