Phyllis Sterling Boehme

Phyllis Sterling Boehme, 84, widow of Robert Boehme, of Mt. Pleasant, SC passed into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, August 22, 2010.  The friends and family of Phyllis Boehme are invited to attend a Memorial Service to celebrate her life at Hillcrest Baptist Church, 3595 Ashley Phosphate Road, North Charleston, SC at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 2, 2010. Burial will be held at a later date in Church Hill Cemetery, Church Hill, MD.  Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL.

Mrs. Boehme was born June 8, 1926, daughter of the late Elmer Watson Sterling and Rebecca Bennett Sterling of Church Hill, MD.  A retired Clerk Stenographer, she was a faithful and very active member of the Hillcrest Baptist Church, where she was dearly loved.

She is survived by her two sisters, Elinor Kessel of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Janet Joiner and her husband, Charles of Chestertown, MD; her brother, Donald W. Sterling and his wife, Jean of Walterboro, SC; several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in Phyllis' name to Hillcrest Baptist Church, 3595 Ashley Phosphate Road, North Charleston, SC  29418.
