Phil Wallace, 51, of Mount Pleasant, SC, husband of Naomi Wallace, died Thursday, October 13, 2016. His Celebration of Life will be held Monday, October 24, 2016, at Palmetto Islands County Park, 444 Needlerush Pkwy., Mt. Pleasant . The service will be held at the fishing dock at the peninsula center back on Horlbeck Creek at 3pm with a gathering to follow at the Sea Biscuit cafe on IOP.
Phil was born May 24, 1965 in Phoenix, Arizona, son of the late Rita Bernadette Wallace. He was an avid Manchester United fan who tried to never miss watching a game. Phil was devoted to his career as a chef with his passion for cooking starting from a young age when helping his mother in the kitchen at their home in Aylesbury, England.
He was the beloved husband of Naomi; stepfather to Brian; brother to Mandy, Paul, and David; brother-in-law to Brian, Rachel, Matt and Mihaela; fond uncle to his nieces and nephews; son-in-law to Miriam; and loving pet parent of Kaila, Charlie, Winston, and cats.
Phil was taken from us too soon, we will forever hold him dearly in our hearts.
Memorials may be made to the Charleston Animal Society, 2455 Remount Road, North Charleston, SC 29406 and/or to the Julia Child Foundation for Gastronomy and the Culinary Arts, 1187 Coast Village Road, Ste. 556, Santa Barbara, CA 93108.
