Philip Siegrist, Jr.

Philip Siegrist, Jr., 89, of Johns Island, South Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024. A private interment service will be held at the All Saints Lutheran Church Columbarium. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel.

Phil was born March 23, 1935, in Camden, New Jersey, the son of Philip Siegrist, Sr. and the late Miriam Holderman. He attended Drexel University and was a Theta Chi collegiate fraternity member. A1963 graduate of Boston University, Phil was an international marketing executive in defense product industries with overseas assignments worldwide. After retiring, he traveled globally alongside his devoted wife, Gwendolyn, and enjoyed spending time with his family and their Rottweiler dogs.

He is survived by two daughters, Sharon Lee Spalten of Smyrna, GA; Susan Elizabeth Thomas of Huntersville, NC; and four grandchildren, Jonathan and Jennifer Spalten, and Colin and Kevin Thomas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gwendolyn Price Siegrist.
