Peter James Knight, 54, of Hanahan, South Carolina, husband of Laura Louise Cagley Knight, died Saturday, September 19, 2015 in Hanahan, SC. His funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 23, 2015, in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road, at 7:00 p.m. The family will receive friends Wednesday prior to the service in Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.

Peter was born October 8, 1960 in Andrews AFB, Maryland, the son of Richard Dorsey Knight and Eleanor Anne Grier Knight. He was the former manager of Rick Hendrick Auto Collision Center.

He is survived by his wife, Laura C. Knight of Hanahan, SC; three daughters, Michelle Anne Ryan (Chris) of Hanahan, SC, Shannon Marie Knight of Goose Creek, SC, and Saige London Knight-Carpenter of Waterloo, IA; parents, Dick and Annie Knight of Hanahan, SC; paternal grandmother, Mary Knight of Hanahan, SC; sister, Nancy Knight (Ron Fulmer) of Hanahan, SC; mother-in-law, Sharon Cowan of North Charleston, SC; two step-daughters, Megan Ireland and Jeana Ireland, both of North Charleston, SC; five grandchildren, Alexis, Alyssa, Kathryn, Jacob and Danielle.
