Peter Reuben Anderson

Entered into eternal rest on the evening of February 14, 2011, Peter Reuben Anderson, husband of Emmy Lou Garwig Anderson.  Residence, Charleston, SC, formerly of Kiawah Island, SC.  The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Reuben Anderson are invited to attend the memorial services of the former Thursday, February17, 2011 in First (Scots) Presbyterian Church at 1:00 pm.

Mr. Anderson was born February 9, 1931 in Rockford, Illinois, the son of Reuben L. Anderson and Vesta Johnson Anderson.  He was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he received his BBA degree in 1952 and his MBA in 1955.  He served in the United States Army during Korea with the Military Police Corps. Mr. Anderson was a member of First (Scots) Presbyterian Church and retired as a Certified Financial Analyst. Peter was an Honorary Life Member of The Board of Trustees of the Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary.

He is survived by his wife of Charleston, SC; one daughter: Stacy E. Anderson of Charlotte, NC and a grandson, Noah Anderson Gminski of Charlotte, NC.
