Perry Manley Rentz

Perry Manley Rentz, 44, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Friday, January 26, 2024. His Memorial Service will be held February 2, 2024 in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, Charleston at 1:00pm.  Interment will be at Live Oak Memorial Gardens, 3093 Ashley River Road, Charleston. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the Memorial Service. 

Perry was born March 22, 1979 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of Jacob Aaron Rentz and the late Joanne Wallace Rentz. Perry graduated from St. Andrews High School.  He loved woodworking; was a diehard New England Patriots and Florida Gators Fan. He was a loving father and enjoyed spending time with family.  

He is survived by one son; Christopher Manley Rentz of Charleston and three brothers; Jacob "Aaron" Rentz Jr. (Diane) of Islandton, SC, Jarrett O.Rentz (Tammy) of Walterboro, SC and Samuel L. Rentz (Resa) of Beaufort, SC; sister, Jennifer Rentz Lee (Arthur) of Moncks Corner.  He was predeceased by his mother, Joanne W. Rentz and grandparents; Robert and Missoura Wallace and Jake and Florrie Lee Rentz.
