Perry was a true servant of our Lord, Jesus Christ and accepted Him as his personal Savior. He has been a member of Charleston First Assembly since 1980 and has served on many church ministries; volunteering where needed. He was selfless in his commitments and always available when called upon, serving others with love, loyalty, and laughter. He had a unique sense of humor, always leaving you with a smile. He always saw the best in people and circumstances. He asked for so little and gave so much.
Perry was predeceased by his parents; his son, James Ricky Patrick, and his three brothers, Charles Patrick, William Patrick, Jr., and Gerald Patrick.
