Peggy Cook Glover, 81, wife of the late Charles Lloyd Glover, of Mount Pleasant, SC, died Sunday, February 27, 2011. The relatives and friends of Peggy Glover are invited to attend her Funeral Service Saturday, March 5, 2011 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Mt. Pleasant, SC. Burial will follow afterward at the Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends at the J. HENRY STUHR MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, Friday, March 4, 2011, from 6:00 till 8:00 p.m. Peggy was born May 9, 1929 in Spencer, IA, daughter of the late Dale J. and Nell Kabrick Cook, who founded Dale J Cook Moving and Storage in North Charleston, SC. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Mt. Pleasant, SC. Peggy received her masters' degree in Public Education and in 1988 was Teacher of the Year both at Gaffney Senior High School and Cherokee County School District # 1. She retired in 1991 after 25 years of distinguished service. Peggy was a very special wife, mother, friend and teacher. She never missed an opportunity to lend a caring hand. She is survived by her three daughters: Dale Jaeger (Robb) of Gainsville, GA, Elizabeth Cornell Yountz (H.E.) of Lake Lure, N.C., and Robin Ragans (Randy) of Macon, GA; step-son: Danny Glover (Diane) of Durham, NC; three grandchildren: Garland Jaeger, Katy Ragans and Robert Ragans; a brother, Jack Cook (Betty) of Mt. Pleasant, SC; nephews: Jay Cook (Susan), Tony Cook and Landy Cook (Regina), all from the Charleston, SC area, and her beloved pet Sheltie, "Elvis". Flowers will be accepted or memorials can be made to Coastal Christian Prepatory School, 681 McCants Drive, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464 or Pet Helpers, 1447 Folly Road, James Island, SC 29412.
