PEARLE WILLIAMSON:                                        


           


            The relatives and friends of Pearle S. Williamson, 93, are invited to attend her funeral services on Friday, May 6, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Cathedral of Praise, 3790 Ashley Phosphate Road, North Charleston, SC.  There will be a committal at 5:00 p.m. in Magnolia Cemetery in Latta, South Carolina.  Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL.


Mrs. Williamson is the widow of Stephen D. Williamson, Sr.  She was born December 6, 1917 the daughter of Hartwell and Pearle Stackhouse Smith of Latta, SC.  She was raised by her aunt and uncle Julius and Alice Stackhouse Rogers.  She is survived by her children: Anne Bethea W. (Wilder) Hatchell of Florence, SC., Walter R. (Carol) Williamson of Tabor City, NC, Frank (Debbie) Williamson of North Charleston, SC and a daughter-in-law Merri Williamson of Charlotte, NC.  She was preceded in death by her son Stephen D. Williamson, Jr. of Charlotte, NC.  Mrs. Williamson has seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother Wilbur (Ann) Smith of Ashburn, VA and Glenn Smith of Villa Park, CA.  She was preceded in death by her brother Ellison Smith of Greensboro, NC.


She was a graduate of Winthrop University and a retired social worker for Dillon County Department of Social Services.  Mrs. Williamson is currently a member of Cathedral of Praise and was a long-time member of Latta United Methodist Church, Latta, SC and Central United Methodist Church in Florence, SC.


The family will receive guests at the home of Frank and Debbie Williamson, 9069 Delancey Circle, North Charleston, SC.
