Pearl Brooks Parker Johnson

Entered into eternal rest on the morning of May 26, 2011, Pearl Brooks Parker Johnson, wife of the late William T. Johnson and the late James Lamar Parker, Sr.  Residence, Summerville, South Carolina.  The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services Saturday, May 28, 2011 at 2:30 pm at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL.  Burial will follow at Live Oak Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends at Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel Saturday from 1 until 2:30 pm. 

Mrs. Johnson was born in Harkers Island, North Carolina on March 12, 1923 to the late James Gordon Brooks and the late Nettie Mae Lewis Brooks.  She was a retired cashier with A&P Grocery Stores and was a member of Summerville Baptist Church.

Surviving are a son, James L. Parker, Jr. and his wife Barbara of Summerville; a daughter, JoAnn P. Rentz and her husband Charles of Moncks Corner; a brother, Henry Allen Brooks of Morehead City, NC; five grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
