Obituary
Pearl was born December 15, 1940 in Andrews, South Carolina, one of ten children of the late Taylor Elliott and Minnie Josephine Green Elliott. A founding member of Cathedral of Praise, Pearl was very involved with many ministries, her favorite working with the babies in the nursery. She loved all children, and when she retired from her job as an administrative assistant, it was her joy to stay with her grandkids. Pearl played softball until she was 73, was an avid seamstress, enjoyed cooking meals, and caring for lost animals. She will be remembered for the way she cherished her family and friends.
She is survived by daughter, Malissa A. LaRoche (Scott) of Mount Pleasant, SC; daughter Lucy LaRoche Charpie (Phil) of St. Helena Island, SC; eight grandchildren, Seth Sandhu, Matthew Sandhu, Samuel Sandhu, Ronnie Charpie, David Grissler, Amanda O'Brien, Abby Grissler, and Jeannie Tennyson; four siblings, Dunham Elliott, Louis Elliott, Patricia Stone, and Carolyn Stone; and many extended family members. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 33 years, Ed LaRoche, and her siblings, Cleo Howard, T.J. Elliott, Wilson Elliott, Louise Ryals and Joseph "Ducky" Elliott.
