Pauline Vivian Tisdale

Vivian Tisdale, 81, of Summerville, SC, wife of Ernest Tisdale, died Friday, January 15, 2016. Her funeral service will be held Monday, January 18, 2016, in Advent Lutheran Church, 3347 Rivers Avenue, at 12:00 pm. Interment, Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday one hour prior to the church service. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., North Area Chapel.

Vivian was born February 18, 1934 in Charleston, SC, daughter of the late Alan Harmon and the late Ruth Bradwell Harmon. She was a member of the Rolling Stone Garden Club and Advent Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her husband, Ernest Tisdale; two daughters, Susan Perrine (husband, Dale) and Dorothy "Dot" Kurkowski (husband, Bob) all of Summerville, SC; son, Thomas "Tom" Tisdale (wife, Cheryl); brother, Fred Harmon (wife, Peggy) all of North Charleston, SC; two sisters, Verna Towler of Sumter, SC and Elizabeth Orander of James Island, SC; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
