Pauline Mincey Gainey

Pauline Mincey Gainey, 91, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Bobby Angus Gainey entered into eternal rest Wednesday, September 7, 2022.  The family will receive friends Sunday, September 11, 2022 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Downtown Chapel from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. 

Pauline was born August 16, 1931 in Whiteville, North Carolina. Pauline attended the College Of Charleston. She did volunteer work at the Middleton Place Plantation for over 15 years especially in the shops teaching crafts of the period. Pauline loved teaching and learning history, traveling, reading and working on her property on James Island.
She is survived by her children: Michael Shane Gainey of Lexington, KY, Steve Angus Gainey of Charlotte, NC,  David Warren Gainey and Pamela Susan Clark both of Fountain Inn, SC; six grandchildren: Steve. A Gainey, Jr., Lindsay Styles Gainey, Ryan Clark, Mica Clark, Audrey Ella Gainey and Caileigh Gainey; and great-grandson, Bentley Olson McLean.
