Pauline Hayes Louthian

Pauline Hayes Louthian, 93, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Friday, September 27, 2024. Her Funeral Service will be held Thursday, October 3, 2024 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. 

Pauline was born May 6, 1931 in Lake View, South Carolina, daughter to the late Wheeler Hayes and Lily Price Hayes. She graduated from MUSC school of nursing in 1953. Her nursing career included psychiatry, Baker hospital OR Supervisor and MUSC school of dentistry.

She is survived by son, Hayes Louthian of Charleston, SC; granddaughter, Caroline; brother, Charlie Hayes; and sister, Mildred Miller.

She was preceded in death by her companion, Jack Purvis Grady; one brother; and two sisters.
