Paula Nadine Christian Dunn

Paula Nadine Christian Dunn, 69, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, joined her husband, Steven Kenneth Dunn in Heaven Sunday, January 28, 2024. Her Funeral Service will be held Sunday, February 4, 2024 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday in the Mount Pleasant Chapel an hour before the service.

Paula was born July 7, 1954 in Lynwood, California, daughter of the late Harvard Edmund Christian and the late Grace Opal Farmer Christian. She worked in the California school system as a preschool teacher or teacher's assistant, but she always said her greatest job (accomplishment) was becoming a “mommy.” Paula was a talented artist. In her spare time she would draw bouquets of roses to sketching people for fun. Painting beautiful landscapes were her specialty. Steve introduced her to Disneyland in high school and after one trip, she was hooked! Disney was one of her favorite places to go with her family. Paula loved vacationing. It didn’t matter where she was going, she just loved to travel especially by way of a cruise ship. She had a love for everyone who met her. You knew you were loved when she would kiss your hand goodbye. She will be remembered most for the way she loved her family and friends. 

She is survived by daughter, Alaina Nadine Dunn of Mt. Pleasant, SC; son, Christopher Steven Dunn (Crystal) of Charleston, SC; two sisters, Linda Kristof (Steve) of Savannah, MO, Deborah Beahm (John) of Mt. Pleasant, SC;  special family member, Denise Dunzweiler (Blaine) of Ooltewah, TN. She was preceded in death by her husband, Steven Kenneth Dunn

Memorials may be made to Seacoast Church in Mt. Pleasant.
