Paula Jeanne Keen Brodie, 59, of Moncks Corner, SC, wife of L. J. Brodie, Jr. entered into eternal rest Friday, April 5, 2019. Her memorial service will be held Thursday, April 11, 2019 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 6:00 pm. The family will receive friends Thursday one hour prior to the service.
Paula was born February 22, 1960 in Richlands, Virginia, daughter of the late Gene E. Keen and Nell Doris Keen Hackworth Street. She was a Baptist in faith, registered nurse and graduated from Southwest Virginia Community College. Her nursing career included working at MUSC, Roper Home Health, and Berkeley County Detention Center. Paula was a strong willed and spirited lady. She was also a loving wife, devoted mother, dedicated Nana, and valued friend.
She is survived by two daughters, Rachel D. (Adam) Ross of Ladson, SC and Jacqueline Ola (Michael) Showalter of Moncks Corner, SC; five grandchildren: Kaylee Feagin, Caiden Showalter, Nealy Ross, Cooper Showalter, Carlyle Showalter; two brothers, Stephen Keen of Eutawville, SC and Eddy (Barbara) Keen of Worcester, MA; beloved nephew, Stephen Douglas (Ambie) Keen of Clover, SC and their children: Wyatt, Amelia and Winston; nephew, John Keen; niece, Brittany Keen; stepfather, Joseph Mac Street of Summerville, SC; and she is also survived by her dogs, JoJo, Lyla, and Buddy.
