Paul Ray Winge

Paul Ray Winge, Sr., 76, of North Charleston, SC, died Wednesday, April 20, 2016. His funeral service will be held Friday, April 22, 2016 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends Friday from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm in Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel.

Paul was born December 29, 1939 in Vidalia, GA, son of the late Bernice Ray Winge and the late Pauline Williford Winge. He retired from Alcoa and Raybestos-Manhattan. Paul enjoyed fishing and was an avid pool player and member of American Poolplayers Association.

He is survived by his wife, Myrna Day Winge; four children: Paul Ray and Peggy Winge, Jr. of Kittrell, NC, Randy Winge of Summerville, SC, Donna and Matt Durand of North Charleston, SC, Chris and Erin Winge of Summerville, SC; 14 grandchildren: Paul Paul, Brandon, Grace, Randall, David, Amy, Taylor, Teigue, McLaurin, Adam, Payton, Christopher, Hunter and Noah; six great-grandchildren: Brantley, Clint, Chandler, Kylie, Christopher and Randall; brother, Philip Winge of Tampa, FL; two sisters, Barbara and Roy Jones of Summerville, SC and Bonnie and David Blackmon of Myrtle Beach, SC. He was preceded in death by his grandchild, Devan Marie Advincula.
